Below are our planned ADA projects

Community Center Project

2025-present

ADA owns land designated for the future development of a community center that will serve as a place of support, education, and opportunity for the community. This is a major project with a powerful vision — one that can become a reality through partnership, generosity, and collective effort. With many helping hands, this dream is possible. The planned community center will provide essential programs and services designed to meet the growing needs of children, youth, adults, and families. The vision includes: Adult daycare services A youth and community center A cafeteria and food bank program A sports and recreation center A library and learning space A professional and technical training school A first aid and community health clinic Additional community support services as needed Beyond providing vital resources and opportunities, the project will also help create employment and empower individuals through education, training, and community development. ADA humbly asks for the support of everyone who believes in building stronger communities and creating opportunities for future generations. Your support, partnership, and contributions can help make this vision a reality and provide lasting benefits for countless families and individuals in need. Together, we can create a center that will bring hope, growth, and positive change to the community for years to come. If you would like to donate toward this project and help make this vision possible, ADA welcomes your support. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help move this project forward and make a meaningful difference in the lives of many families and individuals within the community.

Back-to-School (Yearly)

For many years, ADA has remained committed to supporting the children and families of Lazile through our annual Back-to-School Program. This ongoing initiative was created to help students begin the academic year with the supplies, resources, and encouragement they need to succeed. Each year, with the support of donors, volunteers, and community partners, we provide essential educational assistance to children in need. From school supplies and learning materials to direct support for students and families, this program continues to make a meaningful impact in our community. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive regardless of their circumstances. Through these programs, we are investing in the future of our community and helping empower the next generation of leaders. How You Can Help! Your support allows us to continue and expand this important work. Every donation directly contributes to providing educational resources and assistance to children and families who need it most. Together, we can continue changing lives one child, one family, and one community at a time. Donate today and help us reach our 2026 goal of $15,000.

Noël for the Youth (Yearly)

Goal: $20,000 — Help Us Reach 500 Children Since 2020, ADA has proudly continued the Noël for the Youth Program, a mission dedicated to bringing hope, joy, and support to children and families during the holiday season. This initiative began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when many families were facing financial hardship and uncertainty. In our very first year, with the generosity of our members and supporters, we were able to serve approximately 110 children and their families by providing holiday meals, gifts, and support to help make Christmas special during a difficult time. What started as a small act of compassion quickly grew into an annual tradition of giving and community support. Since 2020, ADA has worked every year to expand the number of children served, increasing our reach by at least 50 additional children annually. Last Christmas in 2025, we proudly supported 310 children and their families, impacting more than 900 individuals, including parents and guardians. Each child received $300 Haitian dollars, along with holiday support and encouragement to help make the season brighter. For many children and families , this program is more than a gift it is a reminder that they are cared for, valued, and not forgotten. For struggling parents, it provides relief, hope, and comfort during the holiday season. Our 2026 Vision This year, our goal is to serve 500 children and continue expanding the impact of this life-changing program. To make this possible, we are seeking to raise $20,000 US to help provide: • Holiday meals for children and families • Financial gifts and support for children • Essential household assistance • A joyful and memorable Christmas experience for families in need Every contribution helps us bring smiles, hope, and dignity to more children in our community. Join Us in Making a Difference With your support, we can continue growing this mission and ensure that even more children experience the joy of the holiday season. Together, we can reach 500 children and make Noël for the Youth 2026 our biggest and most impactful year yet.

Technical School (2012-2014)

One of ADA’s most impactful projects was the

establishment of a Technical School from 2012 to 2014.

ADA rented and equipped a dedicated learning space,

providing computers, furniture, and all essential

educational supplies to support students in gaining

valuable technical skills and training opportunities.

Although the program positively impacted many young

people and remains a project close to our hearts, ADA

was unfortunately unable to continue operating the school due to the ongoing maintenance and operational costs required to sustain the program.

Hospital (2010-present)

In January 2010, ADA proudly contributed to the development of a hospital in

L’Azile by donating the land for the project, valued at $12,500.

ADA also helped

equip the hospital for its opening by providing essential medical equipment and

supplies, including hospital beds, wheelchairs, and other necessary materials.

Since the hospital opened, ADA has provided ongoing support to help ensure continued access to healthcare services for the community. ADA’s support includes:

• Covering electricity expenses totaling approximately $6,000 annually

• Supporting doctors and medical staffing throughout the year
